Don't hesitate: the Armstrong is a little gem !

The Hotel Armstrong is tucked away in a side-street in a busy area away from traffic and street noise. It’s been modernised recently – everything is new – and it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable and welcoming.  We had one of the smaller rooms but, even still, more floor space than in other Paris hotels we have stayed in.  The staff were all really nice people and they spoke better English than our French, and were always helpful and friendly.  Not flash, just clean, comfortable, friendly.  If you are looking for something typically Parisienne and friendly in this area this is the hotel for you.  I just stayed there 2 nights in a row and really regretted that I couldn’t stay any longer… The ride into the centre was approx 15 minutes (Line M9). So in other words, do not worry in the slightest that this hotel is slightly out of the way… it’s extremely accessible due to the great metro system.
