Great restaurant near the hotel

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Armstrong in Paris.  The room was adequate although a bit small but you can see that it has been redecorated recently. It has a metro at the end of street which is easy to use. The local area around the hotel was friendly and genuine French not tourist French - it is a mixed neighbourhood which in my book is a positive.  Just 4 minutes from the hotel we found the best restaurant called the Bistrot. You just have to visit this place: the food was the best we’d seen or tasted and it’s local. The waiter was friendly and helpful although our French is pretty basic.  We found out about this restaurant because of a list that they had at the hotel: the guy on the reception gave us a copy and there was a map to help find it.
