Nice city hotel for the price

I’ve stayed in lots of hotels over the years and I was pleasantly surprised as to how nice the Armstrong was for the price paid. It is around the block from a metro station which gives cheap travel all over Paris. For a city hotel it is in a quiet location with the option of a secure car park if you need one.  The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant (except for breakfast) but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area nearby.  The room was functional with a flat screen tv with some English news channels and the bed was comfortable and there was an en suite with a toilet. I don’t speak any French and the staff were more than willing to help me out.
