Try the Hotel Armstrong and you won't be dissappointed !

We stayed at the Hotel Armstrong over the first weekend in July and we chose it because of the CCTV covered garage to park the car safely. We got a friendly welcome at the front desk and were helped with places to visit and we were given a free map of Paris to know how to get around. The lcd TV only had news channels in English but we didn’t go to Paris to watch TV! We tried cycling a bit in the area with the new cycle rental service called Valib and visited the Bois de Vincennes woods though I wouldn’t have tried it in the centre of the city which is quite congested. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and the breakfast was good too. The price we paid was incredibly good value and the metro was near to the hotel itself with great links to get around the city. It got a bit sticky on the second night – it was seriously hot in Paris – and there was not air conditioning, but I don’t want to sound too negative as although this was an issue it didn’t take away from the fact that everything else was spot on and that we had a great time !
