Good budget hotel in Paris

My three friends and I had a great time at the Hotel Armstrong in Paris.  The staff were extremely helpful with our needs and spoke excellent English – the 24 hour reception is a real positive and the hotel is a reasonable distance from the main attractions because it has easy transport links by tube. The internet access is nice n fast and is free !  The rooms are a bit small though but we only spent nights there sleeping and the beds are comfortable.  Although the location is a bit off the beaten track my friends and I ended up really enjoying the neighbourhood, getting to see parts of Paris that are a bit different from the tourist trap areas.  The hotel is within walking distance from the Pere Lachaise cemetery which we wouldn’t have visited otherwise, but found incredibly cool.  There was a street market by the hotel and we bought bread, cheese and other produce and had a real feast !  A clean n friendly property overall and I wouldn’t hesitate to return there again in the future.
