A good hotel with reasonable prices, decent location and friendly staff

The Armstrong Hotel is a property which is clean and the staff is very helpful and it is really close to the metro stop Porte de Montreuil (20th arrondissement) which makes the location convenient if you are planning to use the metro in Paris.  The room was of a smallish size with a private bathroom and it was cleaned every day and we got regular changes of towels (but the sheets were not). It had a safe which meant we didn’t have to keep all our money on us when we were in town.  The receptionists helped us with ideas on places to go and we found some nice restaurants to eat out but also lots of small places to get food and groceries in the surrounding streets.  Overall for this price is was absolutely ok and I was impressed by my stay there.
