Nice service at the Armstrong Hotel

We were greeted warmly by the reception staff and found the hotel to be very pleasant indeed – but we did have to wait for a hour for the room to be ready (just before 1 pm).  The room was modern and clean and seemed to have been refurbished recently with a flat screen TV and a personal safe where I was able to put my laptop.  For the rate that we paid it was all very good value and we did not have to pay extra for the WiFi.  The staff were exceptionally friendly and not speaking the language it was good to prepare our days outings with English speaking people who were keen to help out.  They prepared a shuttle service from the hotel door to the airport at a cost of 17 EUR which, for the distance, seemed quite good.
