This hotel in Paris is overall a good choice.

The Hotel Armstrong looks like it has been renovated recently and it is very close to the metro station Porte de Montreuil which is nice.  It is quite a long metro ride to the city (we were talking close to half an hour, depending on where we were going), but since it was so inexpensive, we were ok with it. The staff all speak English and they really helped us get around Paris by giving us information about what to see and which trains to take.  Our double room was spacious and clean.  The neighbourhood was low-class but considering how cheap it was we were pleased with our choice of hotel.  The free wireless internet is great if you are taking your own wireless laptop and the location is great for visiting Jimbo’s grave.  If we’re in Paris again we will certainly book with the Hotel Armstrong again.
