The Hotel Armstrong is in the east side of Paris and most of the tourist sites are 15-20 minutes away with the Paris Transit system which is close by.  The Pere Lachaise Cemetery where Jim Morrison is buried is within walking distance.  The staff are very friendly, helpful and speak english, french and other languages. The hotel leaves a very good, solid impression.  All this for a very affordable price. I was extremely satisfied, especially for such a low cost !  It seems more oriented to middle range business travellers. There is an elevator in the building which makes it easier to get to the upper floors.  Also the internet access is free (both wireless and computers available).  They also take American Express for credit card so that was a plus too.  This was a sweet property and everyone was really helpful.  Would return again in a heart beat.
