One of the best budget hotels in Paris

The Hotel Armstrong was very welcoming, room clean and secure. Basic but all you need for a city break. I searched all over the internet and this place came up as one of the best budget hotels available.  Nice clean room with an lcd TV and a small wardrobe for storage with a safe within.  Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about all the places where we wanted to go.  The place was easy enough to find, just minutes from the metro stop Porte de Montreuil. Good place to reach from the CDG airport with the public transportation.  Metro about 15 minutes to the centre of Paris, for example Louvre or Champs Elysees.  For some places like Montmartre you need to swap trains at Nation but it’s really easy and didn’t cause any hassle.  Train to Disney is from the same Nation station and it takes around 30 minutes to get there.  You can also get off one stop before Disney for the Shopping outlet at Val d’Europe.  I felt that the two staff members who were there during my stay both went above and beyond my expectations to help me check in and arrange my return flight. They were patient, friendly and helpful. I really couldn’t have asked for more.  McDonalds is a block away from hotel for tourists who are less adventurous but there are plenty of take-aways for food and cafes too.  Area not the greatest but the metro allows for easy access to just about anywhere and I wouldn’t have a problem recommending the place.  Thumbs up to all the staff.  We had a real blast :)
