A very nice place for the money

The Hotel Armstrong is about two blocks from a metro station which made it easy to get anywhere in Paris.  The staff of the hotel were very friendly and spoke English well.  One big plus was the breakfast bar with lots of good food options for 8 euros. The room, although small, was equipped with a good LCD tv and had everything we needed. 
The place was nice, clean, and accessible. The neighbourhood was interesting with bars and food outlets close by, and the underground parking was snug. They let us leave our bags in the locked closet while we toured Paris on the last day. 
The hotel is near the cemetery with Jim Morrison’s grave.  That was cool.  We did have difficulty finding the location as there were some road works going on and we had to go around the block twice.  Overall a very nice place for the money.
