Uh, It's close to the metro!

We chose this hotel from the previous reviews given, which were unfortunately complete exaggerations for this hotel.  Yes, we were close to the Metro (thank GOD), but the staff was not so outgoing and friendly. Their breakfast was ok, but it was unfortunate that they charged us for it.  Our phone didn’t work and there were no attempts to repairing it.  This made it difficult to communicate with our friend from Paris.  If you don’t mind being far from everything and being at the second to last stop of the metro before leaving Paris than I guess this is the place for you.  Thank goodness for the bakery across the street because the restaurants in the area seemed to only have men in them so we didn’t go in.
