Nice cheap hotel
by ensoleille m - Norbury

23 Jan 2009

We have just returned from Hotel Armstrong, Paris. It was a nice, cheap hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the receptionists all speak English. In the room we had a double bed, a desk, a phone, a safe and a TV. The bathroom was small, with a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and a hairdrier. There was cleaning and fresh towels every day.
The breakfast was plentiful: croissant, baguette, cheese, eggs, jam, honey, butter, nutella, liver paté, yoghurt, tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, cornflakes, muesli.
The hotel is about 2-3 minutes from the metro station, on line 9 (Stop: Porte de Montrieul), and you can directly reach Tour Eiffel, Galeries Lafayette, and Champs Elysée.
There are supermarkets, bakeries, butcheries and brasseries nearby, and you can reach a big department store (Carrefour) with a 10-minute walk.
